A Message From
Mayor Richard F. Turner
Dear Friends and Neighbors,
Welcome to the Township of Weehawken’s Official Community Directory — a resource I’m proud to present to every resident, business owner, and visitor who calls our remarkable town home, even if only for a visit.
Perched along the Hudson River with one of the most breathtaking views of the Manhattan skyline in the entire region, Weehawken has always been a community defined by its character: diverse, determined, and deeply proud of its history. From the site of the famous Burr-Hamilton duel to the celebrated Weehawken waterfront, our 1.3 square miles hold more history, culture, and community spirit than towns ten times our size.
This directory was created with a single goal in mind: to make it easier for you to connect with the people, services, and organizations that make Weehawken work. Whether you’re looking for the hours of the Department of Public Works, searching for a local restaurant, need to reach the Police non-emergency line, or want to find your child’s school calendar — this is your one-stop destination.
My administration is committed to transparency, responsiveness, and the continuous improvement of life in our township. I encourage you to use this directory not just as a resource, but as a reminder of the extraordinary network of neighbors, first responders, educators, small business owners, and public servants who show up every day for this community.
If you have suggestions for improving this directory, or if you notice information that needs to be updated, please don’t hesitate to reach out to my office. Weehawken belongs to all of us, and this directory is a reflection of that shared commitment.
With great pride and gratitude,
Warmly,
Mayor Richard F. TurnerMayor · Township of Weehawken · Hudson County, New Jersey
